So that we can continue to provide efficient, safe and timely service to our patients, there are now a range of delivery options available to you and your family.

Patients utilising any of these delivery options can arrange a video or phone consultation with one of our pharmacists to answer any questions you may have to ensure quality use of medication. A flyer will be included in your delivery with this information.

1) FREE DELIVERY
Free local prescription medication* deliveries (within 5km of the pharmacy) are available on weekdays and may take up to two days from the day of ordering – Read more 
 
2) EXPRESS DELIVERY
Express (guaranteed same day) delivery and is available seven days a week for customers who live within 5km of the pharmacy.  A Delivery Fee of $5 will be charged, however it will be waived for orders over $40 or more than 4 prescriptions – Read more
 
3) FREE EXPRESS POST DELIVERY (Australia Post)
This service is ideal for people living in Wagga’s surrounding towns.  Delivery time is 1-2 business days depending on location. Must meet criteria (see below) – Read more

Order cut off for this service is 12.00pm – meaning your medication may either be delivered that afternoon (by 2pm) or the following day (between 12pm-2pm). You must be at home to accept the delivery, or the items will be left near your front door. We are not responsible for the security of your delivery if you are not home to accept it. Please note some medications are unable to be left and if you’re not at home on the time of delivery these will be required to be collected from the pharmacy.

* This service is only available to patients who leave their prescriptions on file at the pharmacy, however you may also add additional pharmacy products to your order if you wish – including MyChef healthy frozen meals.  If your scripts are not currently on file, please contact us to make this arrangement.

 

2) Express Delivery

Express (guaranteed same day) delivery and is available seven days a week for customers live within 5km of the pharmacy. Express delivery costs $5, or is free if your total order costs more than $40 or are ordering more than 4 prescriptions. Prescription medication* and/or other pharmacy products can be delivered – including MyChef healthy frozen meals.

3) Free Express Post delivery

This service is ideal for people living in Wagga’s surrounding towns.

Free delivery of prescription medication* for a package of up to 500g (some exclusions apply, see below) is available once a month for patients who meet ONE of the following criteria; 

  • Isolating themselves at home on the advice of a medical practitioner for confirmed COVID-19 cases
  • Meeting the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection after consultation with either the national COVID-19 hotline, state COVID-19 hotlines, a registered medical or nursing practitioner or COVID-19 trained health clinic triage staff
  • Aged over 70
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and are aged over 50
  • Have chronic health conditions or who are immunocompromised
  • Pregnant
  • Parents with a newborn

Patients who don’t meet these criteria, or wish to order more than once a month, can still receive an express post package at a cost of $7.77 for up to 500g for each delivery.

WHAT WE CANNOT POST:

  • Schedule 8 medication – Australia Post is not legally authorised to carry controlled substances.
  • Temperature sensitive items – Express Post is not a temperature-controlled network. All fridge postage must be put in appropriate eskies etc, which may weigh more than 500g. These items may still be posted, but freight charges (over 500g) will be passed onto the customer.

Australia Post AUTHORITY TO LEAVE: Unless a signature is required and provided Australia Post can leave the parcel in a safe place, items delivered will automatically contain an ‘authority to leave’. This allows the parcel to be left at the door step and is the safest method through social distancing. Signature on delivery can be requested by the patient for an additional cost of $2.95. A physical signature is not required, but a description of the person is taken by Australia Post.
